I was reminded of a simple but important lesson this morning as I do my quiet time.
Many of us are eager to know God's will for us so that we might do it. As a result, we get all anxious in life because the fact is, most of us cannot see what's going to happen to us beyond next week!
The author of my QT material suggested another perspective. He said that "if you are walking daily with the Lord, you'll not have to find God's will - you will be already in it." Yes, when we obey God day by day, we'll always find ourselves in the will of God.
I think that's cool. From now on, I need not be anxious about my future any more - because as long as I choose to obey God daily, one moment at a time, I'll always find myself in the will of God, whether it's today or 10 years down the road. Hooray!

good point and an excellent reminder, LKY! i have a slightly different perspective to God's will. We always hear youths asking, what is God's will for us? I always say to love God and to love our neighbors, our mission in life is the Great Commission, to make disciples of all nations. From the Bible, I believe God's will is already revealed to us, that is God's redeeming salvation of the whole world thru' the blood of Jesus Christ. There is only one single God's will. God's will for us is to be aligned to his big-picture will. No matter, what we do in life, in our future, or in our ministry, we must learn to align our human wills to this over-arching will of God.
