Atheism is Probably Wrong

This is the cover of a leaflet that respond to the new breed of militant atheists like Richard Dawkins who made famous the phrase: "There is probably no God". To read the entire leaflet, visit:

I would like to add this:"Atheists believe there is probably no God; Christians are confident there is. So would you like to base your life on a probable answer or definite answer?"

Your arguments are flawed. Here's why:

1) Hitler was NOT... let me repeat that, NOT an atheist. Hitler was a Roman Catholic.

2) Dawkins point was that nothing happens for any preordained reason. There is no god-plan behind good and bad things that happen in our lives. But he's NOT saying there's no such thing as morality. He's saying that humans make their own morality. That is WE decide what is right and wrong simply because we are social creatures and wish for a more harmonious relationship with the world we live in and and that requires having a code of ethics or morality. Dawkins point is simply that we don't get our morality from any divine being.

3) Dawkins doesn't suggest that children only hear atheist views or that we should teach our children to be atheists. Atheists want children to decide for themselves what to believe by teaching them to think critically and logically. Training a child to believe in something just because YOU believe in it is wrong. Children should be able to make up their own minds and this includes atheism. I don't intend to teach my son to be an atheist. I intend to teach him about religion and history in general and let him decide for himself what is right for him. If he grows up to be a evangelistic Christian, I won't have any problem with it because he got there on his own without being steered in that direction.
